Frequently asked questions.....

So I have booked my session and paid my retainer and I am not able to do my sitting that day. What can I do?
Please if something does come up contact the studio as soon as possible. You must contact  the studio before your sitting to reschedule if you do not show and have not contacted the studio you will lose your retainer and would need to pay it again when rescheduling. 

I am ready to book my session what do I do?
When you are ready to book your session please go to the book your session page or you can email scarlettrosephotographyohio@gmail.com. You will need to pick the package that you would like to do and if you have questions feel free to contact me first if having trouble deciding, The Attic Studio where I do my boudoir sittings is at my regular studio in the upstairs section. It is a natural light studio so daylight is required to do a photo shoot. I do boudoir sittings on weekdays from 9am to 1pm. I also do schedule some on weekends. Please keep in mind though I typically book my weekend sittings about 4-6 months in advance. When we decide on a date and time you will need to pay a 50% non refundable booking retainer to lock it in and for me to schedule the beauticians or setup a payment plan.

Do you do on location Boudoir sittings or in my own home?
Yes I can. There would be a travel fee to be added to the package and I usually suggest you sending photos of the location or rooms you would like to use so I can see the lighting conditions to see the best time of day to shoot your sitting or if their would be any restrictions.

Who will be at the shoot? Can I bring a friend?
Myself and both of the beauticians are female and we are the only people present at the time of your sitting.  While I recommend you come alone for the best experience, as the best photos come from the one-on-one interaction between you and the photographer.  But you are welcome to bring a female friend if you think you would be more comfortable. Unless you are doing a couples boudoir photo shoot, spouses are not permitted at the shoot..

I’d love to do an intimate boudoir session with my significant other – do you offer this?
Yes we do the prices for couples boudoir isn't listed on the site but please contact us for my information if this is something that you would like more information on. 

I would love to do a boudoir shoot but just don't have the perfect body, the guts or I have no one special to do it for!
It is completely normal to feel nervous and worried. Actually I usually tell women who feel they don't have the confidence to do this that they are ones who should be doing it as this gives you confidence. Oh and by the way everyone has the perfect body!! It is what makes you... you!! Don't be ashamed of it. It doesn't matter if you are a size 0 or a plus sized woman you are beautiful and it is my job to capture that beauty. 

While most of my customers start off doing their boudoir shoots for their significant other it is more of a gift for yourself. To pamper yourself, Love yourself...invest in yourself!!

Can I purchase all the photos from my shoot? or the Raw Images??
The answer is no. I do overshoot but then when editing I go through to give you the best of your shoot. A lot of time goes into editing your photos from your shoot to give you the finished product. A photographer should never give unedited photos to me that's only half doing the job.

I would really like to do my boudoir sitting in a hotel or B&B instead of the studio... Is that possible?
Yes it certainly is. However there is a travel fee and you would be responsible for all costs for renting the hotel or B&B

All the women in the photos on your website look amazing – What if I don't look that good?
We need to remember firstly, you should never compare yourself with someone else. We are all on different paths and are at different stages of our journey's. We are all different sizes, ages and body types.  We ALL have things about our bodies that we are unhappy about that make us self-conscious about and all the women on this website are normal everyday women not super models who gain confidence by doing a boudoir shoot.

Do you have payment plans for your Boudoir Sittings?
Yes we do. I have Weekly, Bi-Weekly and Monthly plans available. There are no fees or interest for payment plans. The package however must be paid off prior to your sitting.

Do I have to use your beautician or can I do my own?
Even if you are yourself a makeup artist or a hair dresser, we still strongly encourage you to go with our professional beautician. Makeup for professional photos is much different than makeup you use for everyday life. It is also a way to for you to relax before your shoot and feel pampered – it is very much a part of the overall experience. Our beautician will work with you to create the the perfect look, whether you want natural or glam. You can feel confident that you will look flawless.
